Opticon LGP-1125/5125 USB CCD Scanner Most new PCs and Macs incorporate a new industry standard called a Universal Serial Bus (USB) which allows the user to connect a variety of computer peripheral devices. The USB scanner plugs directly into the PC’s USB port. It operates like a traditional keyboard wedge scanner emulating data input from the keyboard, but there is no need for special connectors, "Y" cables or external power supplies. The LGP 1125/5125 scanners offer aggressive scanning plus a built-in USB interface with the rugged performance and traditional styling of long life CCD scanners.There is no need for a separate cable or USB adapter box. Just plug the scanner into a USB port. 2 versions are available: the classic LGP1125 with a 2" window and the LGP 5125 with a 3.2" window for use with wide bar codes.
