Designed for use as an on-demand printer in distributed environments. Crowded front office or restricted counter operations will value the 7421’s small size and light weight. A host of options are available such as auto-peel for dispensing labels with backing material removed, cutter, expandable memory to 4 Mb Flash, reflective sensor for use with black mark labels and external battery pack for applications requiring portability. The 7421 connects to computers via RS-232 or parallel interfaces or to networks using external Ethernet devices powered by the 7421’s bi-directional parallel interface.

Getting up and running with the 7421 is simple and quick. Intermec’s PrintSet® system makes printer set up and configuration easy, even for non-technical users.  Users of other Intermec printers will enjoy the 7421’s IPL3 compatibility with earlier versions of IPL and 86XX emulations.
